Kalia Yojana Second Installment

The second installment of the KALIA scheme has been released by the Odisha government. Chief Minister of Odisha State Shri Naveen Patnaik has released Rs.742.58 crores under the beneficiaries of KALIA Yojana. This KALIA scheme payment will be provided during the Rabi season through Direct Benefit Transfer method. 2000 has been transferred to the bank account of each eligible farmer. A total of 37.12 lakh farmers have been selected under KALIA scheme for Rabi season.

 Comprehensive Assistance for Cultivation

Farmers will get financial assistance of Rs. 25000/- per family over five seasons. This assistance will give to small and marginal farmers. The assistance is provided as Rs.5000/- per season for the purchase of inputs like seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, and use assistance towards labour and other investments.

Comprehensive Assistant For Livelihood

Landless agricultural households will get financial support / assistance Rs.12500/- per household. This assistance will give for the agricultural allied activities like small goat rearing units, mini-layer units, duckery units, fishery kits for fishermen, mushroom cultivation and bee-keeping, etc. This benefit of the KALIA yojana is especially to all the SC/ ST category people of the state.

Assistance for Vulnerable Agricultural Household

Under this scheme KALIA Yojana vulnerable cultivators/ landless agricultural labours who are actually not able to take up cultivation due to old age, having disability/ disease or other reasons will also get financial help from the Govt of Odisha. Rs.10000/- will be given to each vulnerable cultivator/ landless agricultural labour for the take care of their sustenance every year.

Life Insurance of Cultivators and Landless Agricultural Labours

Farmers will also get Life insurance cover of Rs. 2.00 lakh premium of Rs.330/-per annum. Insurance cover will be given to all the savings account holders of age between 18-50 years. Out of this premium Govt of Odisha will pay Rs.165/- per annum. Not only life insurance farmers will also get Personal accident cover also of Rs.2 Lakh. The premium amount of accident cover is Rs. 12/- for all the savings account holders of age between 18-50 years. Out of which, Rs. 6/- will be paid by the govt. For those appellants whose age is between 51-70 years, an accident cover premium of Rs.12 will be paid by the government of Odisha.

Interest Free Crop Loan

Gram Panchayats identified vulnerable landless labourers, cultivators, sharecroppers and agricultural families who will get crop loans up to Rs.50000/- on zero percent interest.

When the scheme was launched in December 2018 the state govt sanctioned an amount of Rupees 5115 crore to help the inheritors out of which Rs. 1000 crore is specifically to let the farmers get rid of the debt issues.   • On the homepage, you have to click on complete your e-KYC
  • Now a new page will appear before you
  • On this new page, you have to enter your Aadhar number
  • Now you have to click on verify
  • After that, you have to take only a declaration

  • On this new page, you should enter the OTP that you have received on your Aadhaar linked mobile number

Important Note

Inheritors are required to give an authentic Aadhar number. If at any stage it is found that the Aadhaar number given by the heir is wrong then the beneficiary’s application will be rejected. If the beneficiary’s Aadhar number is not valid or the mobile number is not seeded with the Aadhar number then the beneficiary has to make all the mandatory corrections by visiting the Aadhar enrolment centre as soon as possible and after that, the beneficiary can complete e KYC.
