It is run by the Indian Ministry of Defence and currently manages CSD Web Portal www.afd.csdindia.gov.in. In the last one year, 81,046 cars, 48,794 two wheeler and 9,702 other goods amounting to Rs.6,185 crore were sold through the portal. The CSD is providing spectacular services to Armed Forces Personnel Ex-Servicemen and their family members through online and offline stores.
The offline stores are called Unit Run Canteen (URC) located across India with more than 3,700 outlets.
