The chief Minister of Haryana Shri Manohar Lal Khattar has launched this Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) Identity Card. PPP identifies each and every family in Haryana and keeps the basic data of the family provided with the consent of the family in a digital format. Family ID will link existing independent schemes like scholarships, subsidies and pensions so as to ensure consistency and reliability and at the same time enabling automatic selection of beneficiaries. Further once the data in the PPP database is authenticated and verified a beneficiary will not be required to submit any more document.

Government of Haryana has launched this innovative scheme with various benefits which are as provided below:
- The scheme will eliminate the requirement of carrying several documents to the government office to avail the benefits of a government scheme.
- Individuals with a family ID card will be given a preference in government schemes and services.
- The admission process of schools and colleges will be made much simpler with the PPP card. It will also be needed in the application for jobs.

Eligibility Criteria
There are two types of families that can enrol in the Parivar Pehchan Patra Scheme which are as follows:
- Permanent Families: A family which has been residing in Haryana will be issued a permanent 8-digit number. Such families or individuals of such families should visit the meraparivar.haryana.gov.in website for enrollment.
- Temporary Families:Families living outside Haryana will need to enrol in the Mera Parivar Scheme to avail of the benefits of any scheme or service of the state and 9-digit temporary Family ID starting with the letter ‘T’ will be provided to such families.

Though the state government has launched the portal for online registration of Parivar Pehchan Patra but there is no procedure or link available for online applicationby the general public.
Procedure to Apply Offline for Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID Card)
To apply for this family card please follow the below mentioned steps:
- The applicant must get an application form for the family identity card (PPP Card). which will be available at Ration shops, Tehsildar offices, Block Development Offices, Government Schools, Gas Dealer Offices etc.
- Carry all the necessary documents including the family member’s identity proofs and mobile number in working condition. The number must be used only by the family members and not by others.
- Fill all the necessary details in the application form which includes the details of all the family members.
- Attach all the copies of the required documents with the required photographs.
- Submit this application form to the concerned authority.
- They will validate your application form to check the eligibility of your family for Mera Parivar Pehchan Patra.
- The operator will register the family on the portal and will fill all the details of the family on the Parivar Pehchan Patra Portal and provide a unique Family ID after the successful registration / approval and verification.
