This is the third year in a row that this amount has been transferred as interest reimbursement under this plan. He has also spoken before a sizable crowd to support women. He has also listed various women’s welfare schemes and said that since its inception the government has disbursed Rs 1,36,694 crore through direct benefit transfer without any middleman or corruption. Out of this amount Rs 94,318 crores was credited directly to the women beneficiaries.
- The Chief Minister has also highlighted the fact that in the last 3 years the government has disbursed Rs 3615 crores under YSR Sunna Vaddi scheme. So that those women can be benefited who having loans and making timely repayment.
- The government has also discussed with the banks and reduced the interest for women to 8.5% to 9.5% from the existing 12.5% to 13.5%. The Chief Minister has also said that the government is committed to the welfare of women, their economic progress, and the overall development of women.

Benefits Of YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme
The YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme is available for all the women from the state of Andhra Pradesh who are a part of the Self Help Groups active in the scheme. The main aim of the scheme is to waive off all the loans of all such women in the state.
Eligibility Criteria
- If any women want to get all the benefits of the scheme, then she must follow the following eligibility criteria given below:-
- The applicant must have a credit amount of less than rupees 500000.
- The applicant must belong to the self-help group of Andhra Pradesh state.
- The applicant must be a female
- A loan that falls under the Non-Performing Asset of NPA is not eligible for the scheme.
- An Applicant must belong to below the poverty line category
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh state.

In this scheme door to door survey will be conducted for identification of the applicants of different schemes which was announced by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh.
