Women will be given interest free loan credits under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana to help them become more self-sufficient.The initiative was started to support Gujarati women’s empowerment.Self-help organisations are expanding daily and most of them were started by women.It is essential to safeguard their interests as a result.This is a project that aims to achieve this goal.The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi the Scheme was launched.
The importance of highlighting the contributions made by women to the development of the state is recognised by Gujarat’s chief minister,Sh. Vijay Rupani.The administration intends to offer these groups complete loans of up to Rs 1,000 crore,according to an official notification so they may be recognised as joint obligations and procurement groups.

The major objectives of the yojana is empowering urban and rural women,the MMUY initiative would provide loans up to Rs 1 lakh at 0% interest.In both urban and rural regions, 50,000-50,000 Joint Liability and Earning Groups will be created Rs.2.75 lakh Sakhi Mandal can be lifted in both urban and rural areas.

- The Mukhymantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana was created by the Gujarat government to provide interest-free loans to women who are a part of self-help groups.

- Each self-help group needs 10 participants.
- The initiative will also benefit Sakhi Mandal for Women.
- Interest will be paid to the bank by the government.

Eligibility Criteria

- The candidate must reside in Gujarat permanently
- Only female candidates may submit applications
- A Gujarati self-help group member is required for the position
- There should be ten people in the self-help group
- The government will provide loans to these groups and it will also pay the bank’s interest on those loans.
