History of West Bengal Digital Ration Card

This year on 27 January,2021 West Bengal Digital Ration Card List or Khadya Sathi scheme has completed 5 years. West Bengal government celebrated this day as Khadya Sathi Day.Through this West Bengal Digital Ration Card List 2023-24 or Khadya Sathi Scheme the government provided food to 10 crore people of West Bengal during coronavirus lockdown.Other than this the West Bengal government has decided to give rations to citizens free of cost.This scheme was launched on 27 January 2016.

The main objective of launching the West Bengal digital ration card or Khadya Sathi scheme is to give rice and wheat at the rate of Rs 2 per kg. This scheme is beneficial for around 7 crore people of West Bengal that comprises of 90% population of West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria
