Brief about Kalia Yojana 2022

The state government of Odisha has launched a Kalia Yojana in the state to provide financial support to the farmers of the state. Under the scheme, the farmers will be supported financially with an amount of 5,000 rupees from the government. For the current year, Odisha announced that eligible farmers will get Rs 2,000 twice a year for the following three years. However, this support will only be provided on Akshaya Tritiya and Nuakhai. The KALIA scheme has now enlisted 41 million people, and the state government has also stated that the current financial year’s budget includes 20,000 crores for the agriculture sector.
