Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Naveen Patnaik has launched this scheme for the students of state. As online medium of education is easy but some families cannot afford the laptop so keeping in mind the government is helping them through this scheme. Students who have performed well and excelled in their exams will be given free laptops which can be proven helpful for their further studies.Around 15000 deserving students will be chosen for laptop distribution under this scheme. Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
- Students must be studying in class XII.
- Students should have scored an academic excellence.
- Students who have managed to score 70% or more in the final examination are eligible.
- Student’s age should be between 18 to 25 years.
- Students who have applied for the final CHSE examination will be taken into consideration.
- Apart from this Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University is also included in this scheme.
