How to get UDISE code
A unique 11 digit UDISE code will be provided to the schools which will act as a identifier for all schools across India. Let’s discuss about the process of getting the UDISE code below:
- First, the school authority has to visit the district MIS office with required documents. The recognition letter of the school is a mandatory document in this respect.
- Then, the MIS user will open the UDISE plus software and apply for the 11 digit UDISE code through School Directory Management. Application needs to be verified and approved by the State MIS users.
- After verification the State level user will request clarification to district MIS users.
- After completing all procedures, the State MIS user will send the application to the Ministry of Education of India.
- The whole process of generating the UDISE code will take approximately one week of time.

School Registration Procedure
- For new school registration, you have to visit the official portal,
- You have to open the registration option.
