YSR Yantra Seva Pathakam Scheme 2022
The chief minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the YSR Yantra Seva Pathakam Scheme in order to overcome the shortage of agricultural machinery. This scheme was launched in 26 October 2021. With this scheme, the govt will provide necessary machinery and equipment to the farmers on a rental basis via community recruitment centres which are set up at the cost of Rs 2,134 crores. The government has set up around 10750 community recruitment centres. In each Mandal of east and West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur districts 1,035 cluster level CHC with harvesters will be set up at the rate of 5 units. The Chief Minister had also deposited an amount of Rs 25.55 crore into the account of 1,720 farmers groups under this scheme. This scheme will definitelygoing to improve the financial condition of the farmers. Other than that with the implementation of this scheme farmers will become self-dependent.
Launch Of The Scheme In Guntur City
On 7th June 2022, the chief minister announced the YSR Yantra Seva Pathakam Scheme in Guntur city. The Chief Minister has distributed tractors and combined harvesters in this scheme. Around 3800 tractors and 1140 other farmer machines has been distributed at the Rythu Bharosa Kendra custom hiring centre. Another 320 combined harvesters will be distributed to 320 cluster levels. On the other hand from the distribution, the govt have also deposited Rs 175.61 crore of Subsidy amount into the accounts of the 5260 farmer groups via direct benefit transfer. Till now the government have distributed equipment worth Rs 691 crore at 6781 rythu Bharosa Kendra level and 391 cluster level custom hiring centres.
- The government also allowed a toll-free number of 155251 for any complaint or any enquiry about the yantra Seva Kendra. The government established 10750 YSR Yantra Seva kendras across the state at the cost of Rs 2106 crores. AP government is also setting up 1615 similar centres with combined harvesters each of which will cost Rs 25 lakh in 20 districts.
- These centres will be run by farmer groups which are given a 40% subsidy on the cost of the machines. The APCOB and DCCB will be provided with a 50% loan amount as the reduced interest. The Andhra Pradesh State Government have allocated Rs 8 crore as a subsidy.
- In November 2021 the Government of Andhra Pradesh deposited an amount of Rs 542.06 crore into the bank account of 597311 and Rs 29.51 crore in the 1220 farmers group account. Thus a total of 571.57 crores has been deposited into the account of the farmer.
